This multiphase project includes an entire city block of redevelopment. The plan entailed acquisition of multiple properties and an eleven story-parking garage, which included 845 parking spaces for the New Brunswick Parking Authority. This structure provides parking for the office tower as well as for three nearby healthcare facilities. Phase 2 includes ground-floor retail space and 125,000 square feet of Class A office space, which we recently leased to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for its own use. A sister building has been planned and approved for 80,000 square feet, which will complete the redevelopment of this project. Tax abatements for the entire project were secured through AST's negotiations with the city. The French Street Redevelopment Project was recently nominated by New Brunswick Mayor, James M. Cahill, and was selected to receive a "Good Neighbor Award" by New Jersey Business and Industry.
